Personal Budget Questionnaire

The Putting People First Consortium is working with In Control and Lancaster University to check how personal budgets are working. The questionnaire is for anyone in England with a personal budget or direct payment. There are versions of the questionnaire for carers and for personal budget holders themselves.

This is a really good way of getting people’s experiences heard.

 People can complete the survey online - or use the easy-read hard-copy version with a freepost return address. Visit:

So far over 250 people have completed the survey and said what personal budgets and direct payments are working for them. To see the early results visit:

Local user-led organisations, carers groups, other voluntary groups and providers can join an online network of organisations that are helping to promote the survey and encouraging people to complete it.
