Great British Care Awards

On the 23rd March four members of the group Andrew, Vinny, Judith and Kelly went to the Marriott Hotel at London to meet the judging panel for The Great British Care Award Finals.
Everyone was really nervous, apart from Andrew who wasn't nervous at all, just excited. We mangaged the hussle and bussle of trains to the Big City and even got a really friendly taxi driver who pointed out all of the famous sites. The hotel was fabulous and made us feel really welcome.
Our views on how we did: Everyone in the group did their best to explain who we are and what we hope to achieve. There wasn't much time to fit it all in but the judges looked at our website and took a copy of our manifesto. The judges were very supportive and seemed to be impressed by how much we have achieved in such a short space of time. We did our best and can only keep our fingers crossed! The results are announced on the night.
No matter what the outcome is on the awards night we are all really proud and honoured to have got this far. We will never lose sight of our achievements and The Care Awards have just made things extra special. The group wish to give special thanks to all of the staff at The Care Awards who always make us feel welcome and supported.
